  • See las Malvinas.

But why will they nauseate you during your first trimester? This is very puzzling indeed, c_b.

  • Maybe it's from that site. Which, among impolite euphemisms for pregnancy, lists "Human turducken (if the fetus has a parasitic twin)".

  • sionnach, check out the site link in the header of my list description. But be careful: I nearly busted a gut laughing the first time I read the site.

The point is that just about anything will nauseate (most) women in the first trimester. "Falkland Islands" is about where I lost it and decided it needed to be a Wordie list. :)

  • What exactly does it mean to bust a gut? After you bust a gut, are you then down a gut, like a hockey team might be "down a man"? Must you then carry on with your remaining unbusted guts?

And what about when you bust a move, or bust a rhyme?

(Also: that site is hilarious, c_b. Thanks! :-) )

  • Maybe you're overthinking this, ptero. Sometimes a gut is just a gut. But that site is indeed priceless.

  • All I know is, this talk of gut-busting is making me nauseated.
